Our 6-Week Programme…
At Your First Session - Week 1
In our first session, we’ll take the time to understand what’s been happening for you and your child. We’ll ask thoughtful questions to learn about your child’s experiences, challenges, and strengths. We will introduce The Sailboat Metaphor to understand the foundation for the programme
Ongoing Support Sessions - Weeks 2-5
Ongoing support sessions look different for each child and their family, as they are carefully tailored to meet your unique needs. These sessions can be online and focus on delivering practical interventions to help your teen thrive, build confidence, and navigate challenges. During this programme, your teen will explore:
Week 2: Mastering Attention — focusing on what matters most
Week 3: The Power of Thoughts — learning how thinking shapes emotions and behaviour
Week 4: Motivation To Push Forward — building inner drive and setting goals
Week 5: Effective Coping — learning to navigate stress and emotional storms
Final Session: Review and Future Planning
In the final session, we bring parents and caregivers back into the process to review progress and celebrate growth. We’ll reflect on the key skills your teen has developed, answer any questions, and discuss how you can continue supporting these skills at home. Together, we’ll plan for the future, equipping your family with a clear pathway forward.
Week 6: Creating Your Resilience Plan — mapping out future calm and confidence

“Resilience is fundamentally underpinned by the concept that it is not so much the hard times we face that determine our success or failure as the way in which we respond to those hard times.”
Rachel Jackson and Chris Watkin, developers of The Resilience Inventory.
